B737 Custom Type Rating Prep Package Launched
AvTraining Solutions LLC is pleased to announce the availability of a dedicated B737 type rating prep package that is economical and suited to those pilots looking to get a type rating in the B737. AvTraining Solutions Choosen by Southwest Airlines
AvTraining Solutions LLC of Phoenix, AZ was selected by Southwest Airlines
to outfit their newly expanded training center in Dallas, TX with three new Boeing B737-300 and Boeing B737-700 Cockpit Mockup Procedures Trainers and several briefing room size, full-scale and 200 per cent scale cockpit graphics to outfit their classrooms and simulator briefing rooms. In addition, Southwest purchased two custom graphics site licenses from AvTraining Solutions for the B737-300 and B737-700 that allowed specific changes to match Southwest Airlines' cockpit configurations. Installation of the new training devices and wall-mounted graphics is expected to be completed by March 31.

Cockpit Fam Packs are Back!
We are pleased to reintroduce our line of Cockpit Familiarization Packs (TM) cockpit poster sets. Starting at $19.95 for individual sales, our Cockpit Fam Packs cockpit poster sets are available to individuals as well for bulk purchases at lower prices to Airlines and Training Centers. We currently have the A320 available, and we expect to have the other airplanes available soon. Pricing for 100 Fam Packs for corporate customers is expected to come in around $9.95 per set. Fam Packs are designed for desktop and classroom use, and can be folded into a regular binder or aircraft systems manual as well. New Large Format Printer On Line
This autumn AVTS has been very busy adding and investing in new equipment and software to improve our product line of cockpit posters and graphics. We are pleased to announce the addition of a new KODAK ENCAD 750 GX 42" Large Format printer. Coupled with our new ONYX color management RIP software and new Athlon X-2 Print Server, we are able to offer a whole new line of full scale and oversize cockpit poster products. Look for 150% and 200% sized large classroom graphics in our aircraft categories lineups very soon. Our new printer improves all our full scale and large scale output quality dramatically and by keeping ENCAD 25-year performance GX ink we are able to offer our great cockpit graphics with superior performance at reasonable prices.

AVTS is pleased to announce that effective immediately it will be using Encad Graphic Extend (GX) ink for all large and full size cockpit poster sets, illustrations, and cockpit trainer graphics. With a life expectancy of 35 years + when properly handled, our new GX cockpit posters will far exceed our standard 5 year warranty against fading.
