The Honeywell HT9100 Global Positioning System (GPS)
CDU training program is available with full interactive CBT. This LNAV system is used on some DC-10 series aircraft.
The interactive 9100 CBT program (available on CDROM) for the GPS provides approximately 4 hours of interactive training.
The user should be able to load and operate the Honeywell/Trimble HT9100 GPS when this program is complete.
This program uses interactive objects to demonstrate the system operation, and is the highest level of CBT.

This program uses interactive objects to demonstrate the system operation, and is the highest level of CBT. Pilots can control the pace of learning and complete the required classroom modules at their own pace of learning. Interactive control panels are linked to virtual systems so when a pilot turns a specific knob or moves a switch, he/she can immediately see the reaction in the systems color pictorials.
The systems are described through narration and the user is allowed to freely move switches and view the affect on the systems diagram. The Menu system allows the user to jump to the desired portion of the program at any time.
